Wymeswold population changes

Alec Moretti

Wolds villages population growth
1801 to 1994

The dramatic increase in population in Burton on the Wolds in 1951 is presumably the residents of the 'Polish camp'.

The reduction in population since 1851 is thought to be a result of adults moving to Loughborough and other local towns.
