Hussey Packe is depicted kneeling before a desk on the front of which is carved his relief bust.
In the background of the monument is an angel whose right hand is held high in blessing while
the left holds a model of the church, which, as the inscription tells us, he restored. There
is an oil-lamp in the bottom right hand corner while the Packe arms are behind the kneeling
figure.
The inscription reads:
Sacred to the memory of Hussey Packe of Prestwold and of Caythorpe in the county of Lincoln.
Born November 7 1847. Died November 8th 1908.

Marian and Sybil Alica. He restored this church in the year 1890.
Also of Alice widow of the above Hussey Packe born 17 December 1850 died 8 January 1937.
