![]() In an ogee arched recess in the north wall lies the effigy of a cross-legged civilian. Although the lower parts of the legs are gone, the cross-legged attitude is still apparent under the robe. Only one foot remains, which is resting on a lion. The hands are broken off, but were joined in the attitude of prayer and holding a heart on the breast. Bare-headed and curly-haired the head is resting on a double cushion, on the right side of which a leg and a foot are emerging – no doubt all that is left of a supporting angel. Bearded, he is wearing a capuchin, folded on the breast and shoulders, with a long super-tunic with loose sleeves reaching to the elbows, from which the close-fitting sleeves of the inner tunic appear. Oval-shaped slits on the sides disclose the inner tunic, which is belted and extends to the knees.
